Dr. Heinz R Kubli, CFA

CEO

Heinz teaches at The Zürich School of Economics (HWZ). He is also on the Board of Opus Capital Asset Management, and General Partner of ESA-ESG GP Ltd. He held positions at the Swiss Bank Corporation, UBS and Hypovereinsbank. He is considered a thought-leader in banking, financing and project analysis.

Lester Kemp

COO

Lester has more than 25 years of experience in senior positions worldwide in mining and exploration. Most recently, he worked as COO for Century Cobalt Corporation, where he was responsible for cobalt projects in the U.S., and as a consultant to various companies, he advised on resource projects in Africa. Up until recently, Lester was a Non-Executive Director of a UK-based advisory firm specializing in promoting responsible business conduct and good governance in mineral production and sourcing.

Simon Griffiths

Technical Advisor

Simon Griffiths joined as Technical Advisor. It is planned to appoint him to the board of directors as Non Executive Director at the next annual general meeting.

Simon is one of the industry’s preeminent Economic Geologists with more than 20 years of exploration success as an executive of both Rio Tinto and Barrick Gold. His activities span some of the world’s largest deposits of gold, copper, silver uranium, nickel, diamonds and coal — several have attained world-class status for mineral deposits. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology, a Master’s in Mineral Exploration and is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London. He also graduated from the Orebody Knowledge & Strategic Mine Planning programme in association with Duke University.

Simon Clarke

Chairman of the Advisory Board

Simon Clarke will join as Senior Advisor and is the designated Chairman of the planned Advisory Board.

Simon serves as General Counsel to Australian mining magnate, Andrew Forrest, and his philanthropic organisation, the Minderoo Foundation Trust. Simon was formerly a Partner of Magic Circle law firm, Allen & Overy from 2009 to 2019. For much of that time he headed the APAC litigation group acting on complex commercial arrangements, high-stakes transactions and global regulatory inquiries. His clients included Bulge-Bracket investment banks, major asset management firms, Blue Chip industrials and ultra-high-net worth individuals. Simon graduated from Macquarie University, Sydney, in 1990 with a BSc LLB.

Roger Hermann

CFO

Roger Hermann has served in various senior positions in the accounting, auditing and financial consultancy industries, including as Head of Financial Reporting for a publicly listed company. He is a certified trustee and auditor in Switzerland. Most recently, Roger was CFO and responsible for digitization in the start-up environment.
